Hey kids! Its Uncle Ben Eller here with another sick lick here on Weekend Wankshop. Long ago, i wasted hours of my life practicing the typical played-out descending 4's scale sequence... you know the one i'm talking about! That thing is boring, and doggone DIFFICULT to play at high speeds, and even when you can, it just sounds like an exercise!
On today's lesson, i'm going to show you all how to play a variation on the descending 4's pattern that i stumbled into years ago with my playing. We will talk about the A Lydian mode, the picking tips, and the pull-off placement strategies. You'll be shredding in no time!!!
