Andy's uses a unique approach to scale-based soloing, utilising intervallic variations of E Aeolian and E Minor Pentatonic.

His playing is articulate but not strictly clinical, leaving room for technical inconsistencies and his own flair and feel.

The solo is loosely based around Em Pentatonic, with runs ala John Petrucci and Zakk Wylde, a sound mimicked by his use of Wah.

Andy tends to ascend using strictly pentatonic or linear scale runs, while descending with wider intervallic patterns.

Good luck! Cant wait to hear what you guys come up with!

Cheers,

AJ
