Juliette Jade: Gibson overwhelmed by response to video clip

Juliette Jade the artist formerly known as Juliette Valduriez
Recently Gibson Guitar posted a fan-made video on its Facebook page, and the response was overwhelming. More than 16,000 fans have checked out the YouTube clip, in which a young woman, Juliette Valduriez, shreds all over Ozzy Osbourne’s “Bark at the Moon.”

Guitar fans worldwide aren’t just impressed with Juliette’s skills. Many seem to love the nonchalant manner in which she displays them. http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Lifestyle/News/juliette-1012-2011/

  2. " I have been listening to her throughout the morning and had to search on Wikipedia but no luck. This is one of the few honorable mentions of Juliette not found on Youtube. It would be great to know where this girl is headed in her life?"

  4. One thing is her obvious talent but her choice of music if quite good too.

  5. A superbly talented natural player, she plays with a seemingly effortless ease which is a great skill among great guitar players.

  8. She's hot and she looks like a cobra waiting to strike its pray and consume it whole but what I don't understand about this day and age is the song remains the same man. I mean the material is not new, far from it, she's just awesome to watch because she's smokin hot and she looks so effortless. Which is the style of any worthy player. yeah. Don't bring in a man to do a womans job I say. Half these dudes grow their hair and act like women on stage anyway so why not just use a woman. Get it done right to begin with.

  9. Yeah, I think she is the most talented guitarist I've seen in the last 25 years. Strange, not one spoken word on video anywhere that I can find. She truly is an amazingly rare artist.

  10. OMG, if this were a dude or an ugly chick we would not even be here commenting on this. The fact that the majority of the comments on here bring up her sex is really sad. Yes she is talented but talented guitar players are really a dime a dozen, talented chick guitar players are becoming the norm also. Lets see some original song writing/recording and then make a judgement based on her playing. Not because you are falling in love with her. People/Guys get over it. Would you go into a strip club and fall in love with a stripper that pretends your the most hottest piece of hunk in the universe because you are feeding her dollar bills? Female musicians should be offended. If you do not believe me go to youtube and search female guitar players. The cute/pretty ones will have a million comments praising how good she is but the not so pretty ones will have far less.

  11. if she were a dude or an ugly Chick? Please... open your ears jackass. if Quasimodo could play like that it would be just as astonishing.....

  12. No, this is true. I'm only few pounds over weight (not obese!) and have played in many bands and have been told I am amazing on guitar. I could put a video on youtube and it would disappear into oblivion. I edit the video with my wife pretending to play over my recorded track...there'd be a million hits.
Not acknowledging that sex is a driving force in music shows you have no idea what every inch of the music industry is...
Which also proves how amazing Susan Boyle is to over come that...and I'm not even a fan of hers, but appreciate her talent.

  13. She is just amazing! And beautiful :)

  14. I agree with the above dudes... yeah she can play. She has a bit of soul in there, I like her Great Gig In The Sky video its awesome playing. But the attention comes more from her appearance than her talent. If those videos were of me playing edited in there Milli Vanilli style, no one would give a muck. "Yeah dude, you can play alright but im better" would be every other comment. Ive seen some really good players get hosed on youtube by idiots, players more astonishing than this girl. Im not knocking her at ALL, just saying lets be real

    1. I disagree very much! Girl can PLAY! I'm a mid-40's "has-been" (off the circuit for years), but I know guitar talent when I see it. Sure she's a knockout, but if you are watching her videos and only interested in her looks, wouldn't you go to a nudie site or strip bar... or something. No denying she can play and she's influenced my playing as well. Keep on Rockin' Juliette!

  16. The above comments about her getting recognition because she's hot is just total bullshit. If you can't "hear" because your eyes are in the way, why don't you just try closing your eyes and listen to the damn music! Yeah, she's hot, but her looks are just a bonus to the whole experience.
