In November Carl is back in the studio working on a new studio CD. Chad Wackerman and Bernie Dresel will be featured on drums. Carl will also visit Italy for an extended solo tour. Carl is also working on an instructional DVD "Improvising Without Scales".

Background:
Carl Verheyen was born in Pasadena in Southern California and started playing guitar at the age 10. He used to practive every day and pursued his musical education at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Through his studies he has worked with many artists like: Carl Anderson, Christina Aguilera, Melissa Manchester, Leanne Rimes, Michael Damian, and Eagle Glenn Frey. He played on the Tonight Show and in 1985, Carl became lead guitarist for Supertramp, replacing Roger Hodgson.

Carl is one of L.A's first call studio guitarists. He has played on over 200 different television shows as far back as “Happy Days” and “Laverne and Shirley” and including “Cheers”, “Suddenly Susan” and “L.A. Law.”
