Background:
Antti was borin in Finland and his first musical influences were listening to his mother playing piano. He started playing piano at the age of four and a year later he was accepted to study at the Conservatory of Tampere, Finland. The piano lessons continued for three years, until I he got an acoustic guitar at the age of nine.

The guitar became the focus of his playing and he soon took lessons from Finnish guitarist Tapani Mäenpää. At the age of 11 he enrolled at the Conservatory of Tampere to study classical guitar.

At the age of 14 move to jazz-rock and at the age of 15 he enrolled at the Oulunkylä Pop/Jazz Conservatory in Helsinki. Then in 1994 he moved to LA to attend the Musicians’ Institute where he hooked up with Richie Hallebeek.

In January 1995 we signed a four-album contract with Mark Varney’s acclaimed Legato Records. Our debut album Generator was released worldwide in November 1995.

Hee also worked again with Richie Hallebeek. In 1999 he worked on a session that included Derek Sherinian, Virgil Donati and Brett Garsed. However this as not released.

In 2002 he worked with bassist JK Kleutgens in a band called Cavemen. The band featured Vinnie Colaiuta and Steve Tavaglione. Cave Men recorded its debut album in late 2002 and it was released on J2KRecords in February 2003.

He is currently working with Richie on a new CD....watch this space...
