I just read an interesting article on googlesystem which highlights a little drop in figures that was also noted on my view statistics for last Friday which dropped from an average of 350 visits per day to just 230. According to this googlesystem post this was because:

Google removed from the search results all the blogs hosted at blogspot.com and some of the .info domains for about 8 hours..
