A truckload of chops, but Reece Fullwood pauses to decide what next?

Reece Fullwood says:
Hey everyone, just thought i'd post this random blog out about what i'm trying to do with my music.

As far as my own solo prodject goes,

I really want it to benefit me as a player and a composer, this is my main way of progressing through different styles and improving technique.

I want to be able to Include something new in every song, i don't mean like a riff ,i mean like a feel. i want to create a different mood for every song, Just to get across what i can do, i don't know yet.

I'm always wanting to create some melody, rhythm, groove, smoother lead, harmonies, mad shred sections, and crazy time signatures, i want to try and put everything into every song i can, i know its not everyones favourite thing to listen to, but thats what i am aiming for. I still want to get a different mood in every song while doing so. Thats probably why they end up so long. I need to change up one song enough to get enough different feels in it without destroying the song and making it nasty to listen too, it's really hard for me.

I'd really like to be able to gig playing my own stuff, but i know that won't happen anytime soon, Not many people want to listen to this style of music, it would be a dream one day.

Often songs start off with a rhythm that i mix around with, the lead is that last thing to go down on the track, sometimes i try and change the rhythm up mode wise to accomodate for an interesting sound, but it fails sometimes,

I'd also like to release a cd privately, i feel a full length cd is the only path for, i wanted to do a 4 track demo, but i dont i would be able to get across all aspects of my playing, which in the end is what i want to do. I will keep everyone posted on this. I'm still writing right now, and hopefully when thats done i'll know what to do next, to keep moving.

Thanks for reading,

sorry about the rant haha. :)
