John Gregson: Hybrid Picking Applications

A quick look at some ways to apply the hybrid picking technique (introduced here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FL5-p_... ) to lead playing, by focusing on some lines involving the minor pentatonic scale.

We look at both 2 note-per-string and 3-note-per-string ideas for a variety of fusion lines in the style of Brett Garsed, Shawn Lane, Eric Johnson, Tom Quayle, Greg Howe & Richie Kotzen.
