Syu Merupakan was born in Japan and is a shredding neo classical player. He has been in a number of bands: Ia memiliki beberapa band, diantaranya adalah Animetal, Aushvitz, dan Galneryus. He has also released material with these bands
Some of his influences include: dari band, Stratovarius, Yngwie Malmsteen, Angra, Rhapsody, dll.
