Background:
Tamás Szekeres has been around a long time. He was born 12 March 1964, Budapest. He went to the Ferenc Liszt College of Music as a guitar major. He was a student of Laszlo Szendrey-Karper, artist/teacher degree in 1991.

Bands (since 1979): Carat (1981), Varga Miklos Band (1982), Senator (1985), Szekeres Tamas Project (from 1988), Omen (1991-93), Tamas (since 1994), Omega (since 1994).

Concerts (selection): Classical guitar concerts in Hungary and Europe since 1993. Rock concerts in Hungary, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Austria, the USA in Ken Tamplin’s band and on tour in Europe with Tony MacAlpine.
