THE COMPETITION NOW CLOSES ON SATURDAY 17TH MAY 2008 MIDNIGHT UK TIME. Make sure you get your entry in!
Due to the unprecedented success of Guitar Idol 2008 and the strong worldwide contingent of entries, we are now moving the closing date for entries forward to Midnight UK time, Saturday 17th May 2008. No further entries will be accepted after this time. Voting will close 7 days after.
This is to allow us to contact overseas contestants and give them the best opportunity to attend the finals in London with regards to travel and accommodation arrangements. The sooner flights can be booked then the better chance they have of attending. This is in response to the emails received and forum posts which we have been paying very close attention to.
We will be contacting the chosen finalists as soon as possible to assemble the live show line up.
So, get working on your compositions as the on line judges will be looking at ALL entries on an individual basis and selecting finalists regardless of the date you enter
