A mega news update. The new Freak Kitchen album in production! The band is working on the seventh Freak Kitchen album, entitled Land of the Freaks, featuring twelve brand new tracks:
God Save the Spleen, Honey, You’re a Nazi, Teargas Jazz, Sick? (Death by Hypochondria), The Smell of Time, OK, Do Not Disturb, Murder Groupie, One Last Dance, Clean it Up, The Only Way and Hip Hip Hoorah!
Wise from previous productions no release date will be set until the music is recorded, mixed and mastered. Still, a fair guess is late 2008.
Also Mattias IA Eklundh has been floored (to say the least) by Swedish inventor Anders Thidell's ground breaking True Temperament frets! Two Caparison Apple Horn guitars have been equipped with this amazing invention so far. The intonation is superior to anything else out there. To be heard on both Land of the Freaks and Mattias IA Eklundh's next Freak Guitar album. Which seems to indicate there will be another instrumental guitar album soon.
Mr. Fastfinger, aka Mika Tyyskä, had a great, great honour to do a surprise Guitar Shred Show in Sweden last week. Yes, it was the famous Freak Guitar Camp in Gothenburg forests, conducted by the Swedish guru, Mattias IA Eklundh. Mr. Fastfinger and Mika did their duo show for the crowd of almost 30 freak students. As the encore the audience was treated by a freak shred jamming of the trio: Mika - Mattias - Fastfinger. Ugggh yeah, we did respect that moment!

Metal Rock Fest - Live in Norway! on the 16th of August Freak Kitchen will play www.metalrockfest.com in Norway together with Opeth and others.
Freak Kitchen return to Great Indian Rock! The band is happy to announce freaky music will be heard at this year's Great Indian Rock:
Friday 31st October - Andheri Stadium, Mumbai
Sat 1st November - Hamsadhwani Open Air Theater, New Delhi
Mattias IA Eklundh will most likely do a clinic or two + there might be a warm up concert.
