Timo Somers: Delain set to support Within Temptation

Dutch Symphonic Metal masters DELAIN are confirmed as the support act for the first dates of the upcoming WITHIN TEMPTATION tour, early 2014. The band will be opening up for WITHIN TEMPTATION at their shows in France, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium in January and February of 2014.

Fronted by Charlotte Wessels, DELAIN is the brainchild of ex-WITHIN TEMPTATION keyboardist, Martijn Westerholt. Originally conceived by Martijn as an all-star studio project, the success of the debut album “Lucidity” tipped his hand and DELAIN evolved into a full blown band with a large fanbase all over the world. Being awarded as representative place of the Netherlands in the MTV New Sounds of Europe Awards, their albums high in the album charts, the band soon found themselves on tour throughout Europe, USA, Mexico and Brazil, Argentina and Japan, including festival performances at Wacken Open Air, Sonisphere, Lowlands, Graspop, M’era Luna, ProgPower USA, and Hellfest!

DELAIN are scheduled to release a brand-new masterpiece in January/February 2014 through Napalm Records. In the meantime the band will release the special fan CD+DVD album "Interlude" on May 6, 2013. "Interlude" contains new songs, covers, live tracks and a free bonus DVD including live tracks from MFVF 2012, videos & specials.
