Angel Vivaldi : Tone Sessions – Mark Five 35 & Recto 4x12 Standard Slant

Mesa Artist Angel Vivaldi plays “….. (Five)” from his album, Away With Words, through the Mark Five: 35 head and a 4x12 Standard Slant Rectifier custom wrapped in Hot White Bronco Vinyl and White Nylon Grille.
Ch. 2 of the Mark Five: 35 offers dynamic, singing lead sounds in Ch. 2 of the Mark Five: 35 head. Angel used the Mark IV mode and achieved tremendous sustain and detail along with perfect combination of warmth, roundness & attack. For the chord break at 1:20, Angel switched to the Crunch Mode in Ch. 1 for clear, harmonic layering at medium gain settings.
Angel played through an Ibanez RG7 with Dimarzio PAF7 and Air Norton 7 pickups through a Jim Dunlop Echoplex Delay into the front of the Mark Five: 35 head and a 4x12 Standard Rectifier. Mic’d with a Shure KSM 313, SM57 and the CabClone on the JP-2C. Mixed 40% KSM, 35% SM57 and 25% CabClone.
