Background:
Fabio Montorzi started guitar playing late at the age of 17 years, after assisting on the "Monsters of Rock" tour of 1992. Like many around that time he was influenced by Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Testament.
Later he would be influenced by a tape that a girl gave him. The tape featured a hot guitarist but did not reveal the name of the guitar player. After many months he finally figured out that " I' ll see the light tonight" ... was by Yngwie J. Malmsteen.
He became driven by the desire to learn guitar and as the months passed he became influnced by other artists like the two players of Cacophony, Marty Friedman and Jason Becker. He has gone on to focus on his playing style andhas exanded (far beyond the sun) his guitar technique. He has since been featured on his friend Matt Cafissi's CD Heat of Emotion
