Background:
Marko Pavic was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. He moved to Budapest, Hungary, with his famil. He started classical guitar lessons at the age of thirteen. He returned to Belgrade where he started playing with various bands in high school.

In 1993 he moved to Trieste in Italy. After two years he moved to Rome to attend the "University of music of Rome". He studied with with Umberto Fiorentino, Fabio Zeppetella, , Franco Ventura and Massimiliano Rosati.

He recorded two instrumental songs "Balkan" and "Phrygian magic" for UM records. But in 1998 he formed the band PAVIC.
