Background:
Doug Doppler has been around for some time. I got his first release Doppler Effect: Ground Zero back in 1995. He is a former a protégé of the ever popular,Joe Satriani. Doug has relased a couple of CD's and also created a guitar instructional DVD series. His latest release on Nu-Instrumetal (Favored Nations). As the title says:

"The goal of the record was to bridge the gap between nu metal bands like Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Saliva, old school metal acts like Metallica and Exodus and instrumental artists like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. 'Nu Instrumetal' refers to that collision of stylistic influences."
The CD also features lead guitarist Brad Gillis, Billy Sheehan, Stu Hamm and drummer Atma Anur.
