Background:
Niels Vejlyt was born in 1971 in Denmark and started to play guitar at the age of 15. He started playing seriuosly at the age of 18 and was inspired at the age of 20 by Yngwie Malmsteen to practice at least 10 to 18 hours a day.
He moved to Højskole where he played in local heavy bands and later learned to play many different styles of music from metal to fusion and pop.
Her currently plays in the progressive metal band My Empty Room. His main guitar inspirations remain the late Shawn Lane, Allan Holdsworth, George Bellas, Symphony X, Yngwie Malmsteen and Borislav Mitic
