Just spotted this video...The very inventive Arkadiy Starodoub at the ESP stand presenting guitars from the Moscow 2007 show. Although the sound quality is not all there, it sounds awesome to me.

A minor news update, Ark emailed me to confirm that he's slowly, but surely, putting the music together for his upcoming CD. The process has been slow, but he's getting there.Also he hopes to be appearing at the Music Exhibition in Moscow, where he hopes he'll get a chance to perform some of the new material.

Arkadiy Starodoub's video that started it all off. I originally posted the video on google video. Then it was reposted on YouTube, added one year ago today. The rest, as they say, is history.

Background:
Arkadiy Starodoub is a native of Moscow and began his musical journey playing keyboards at the age of 7. He attended college where he was trained on the keyboards before playing guitar at the age of 13.


He has since played in a number of different musical groups in and around the Moscow area.

In 1999 -2000 he took part in and a won a prize in one of the top Russan guitar competitions. He was also interviewed by one of the top Russian guitar web sites:
