Daniele will also be appearing on http://www.twinspirits.net/ The new project featuring Daniele Liverani, Tommy Ermolli, Daniele Gottardo and Alberto Rigoni.
Background:
Daniel Gottardo was born in Rovigo, Italy on 26 August of the 1983. Although he didn't start to play guitar until 1996 at the age of 13.
He found guitar playing tough going until he enrolled in a music college in 1999. He joined the Lizard Music Academy of Giovanni Unterberger and this really expanded his musical development. He studied with Flavio Terrin and Lelio Padovani (previously featured in truthinshredding).
After getting a diploma in the 2003 and then went on to train with Alex Stornello a well know legato fusion player. He soon started studying video on 8 finger tapping techniques, which he added to his already impressive technique. You can find an example on his web site.

I just don't know what they are putting in the water in Italy at the moment that is producing all these great players!! Check out his web site for a full list of current mp3's. It is pretty cool stuff, I think you'll be impressed.
