Background:
Riccardo Misto was born in Padova, Italy. He graduated from a four year course in Music Therapy.
He has deepened the therapeutic aspects of his sound studying and graduating the triennial course of Nada Yoga held from the Indian musician and music therapy, Professor. Vemu Mukunda.
He has studied guitar jazz with Larry Coryell and the sarod (liuto Indian) with Masters Vikash Maharaj in Benares and Partho Sarothy in Calcutta. He has published articles on the sound, music and the therapy for several reviews.
He holds conferences, seminaries and stages on the therapeutic use of the sound and music in Italy and abroad. He has collaborated with the Institute of Sonologia of the University of Padova in the study of the human voice and the harmonic song.
He has founded the group of ethno-jazz “Mishra”, who have undertaken music Festivals in Italy and abroad.
