Craig Erickson: after the flood

Craig Erikson posted about his new CD:

close to being finished and mixed....hoping for a November release if all goes well...

This CD has survived the flood.It could have so easily been lost along with so many other things at the studio.it was started after my tour in France in November of 2007.

I am playing drums,bass,banjo,acoustic guitar,lap steel,some ambient electric...
so far the only other musician on the record is Natalie Brown on violin on 2 songs.

It has a very 70s vibe to it with influences like Taj Mahal,Grateful Dead,Allman Bros., little feat....now mix that w. Chris Whitley,Ani Di franco,even some country
and its pretty unique...and was alot of fun to make!

It was recorded by me and Scotty A and will be mixed by Christian Brown who
mixed Big Highway
