Guthrie Govan will be giving a rare master class to students at Guitar Getaways on Tuesday 12th August 2008.
As guitarist with ASIA, Guthrie has become internationally recognised as one of the most important contemporary guitarists on the planet, but it is less known that he is also an excellent guitar teacher.
Guthrie's master class will focus on assisting students in learning to play convincingly over chord changes, but in addition he will talk about how he has developed his musicality, and his highly distinctive individual playing style.
The master class forms part of a week long guitar summer school based at Guitar Getaways, located in Cornwall in the United Kingdom.
