Charly Sahona: venturia guitarist prepares a solo release

Charly Sahona has began writing for a solo album tentatively entitled "Naked Thoughts From A Silent Chaos". The album will consist of 8 or 9 tracks with vocals with the direction being a more straightforward brand of metal than that heard on the last Venturia album "Hybrid".



The new solo album will be tracks built around heavy riffs, catchy vocal lines and crazy solos with all guitar work and vocals handled by Charly himself. Fellow Venturia musicians Diego Rapacchietti (drums) and Thomas James (bass) will provide the rhythm section.

Charly is keen to stress that this doesn't mean the end for Venturia - far from it - as writing for the third Venturia album will commence in May and Charly has hinted the sound will also be heavier and more direct than that heard on last years "Hybrid".

A release for "Naked Thoughts From A Silent Chaos" is anticipated in the 3rd quarter of 2009 on Lion Music.

No names for guest guitarists yet, but I do know Richard Daude lives in the same area!
