News: review of the guitar idol finalists

In my opinion, this is some of the the best guitar music I have come across in the last few years, and to all the contestants I wish you all the best, you have all reached the top of your game and deserve all the praise and glory that is out there for your fine contributions and excellent mastery of this most excellent instrument...you are all winners in my view.

To the rest of the contestants who didn`t make it to the final round of 12, all I can say is keep playing those guitars, you all have so much to offer the world of music : Dragianni, Marc Playle, Ivan Zecic, Jimmy Oliveira, Song Chitipat who is only 13 years old, Lucky Singh, man you guys rock !!. You have all provided me with some of the best music in recent years, never stop playing that axe, you are all masters of your instrument.

To the organisers, what an awesome job you have done, please never stop doing this !! It is what the music world needs, real musicians playing real instruments, with so much personality and enthusiasm. This is the core of music, it doesn`t get better than this.!!
