Vigier with Emgs into the Bogner Alchemist set to break up a bit on the clean channel. Pushed over the top with a MI Audio Neo Fuzz, amp loaded down with a THD Hot Plate, direct to hard disk, speaker sim from Overloud's TH1.
Direct recording with Destroy All Guitars Telstar...
Direct recording experiment continued....
an easy way to practice/record with and have happening tone.
What ya need...
guitar, cable, amp, speaker cable, load, line-out box, speaker sim...
In this case...
70s JMP 50 watter into a Hot Plate, lne-out of the Hot Plate into a Line 6 UX2, into the computer.
In the computer I'm running TH1 and use cab IRs.
Of course if the Axe-Fx was at home I'd use that for the IRs, or any other convolution software. heck in a pinch I'd use the UX2 with the amp sim off, and the cab sim on.
You can use any attenuator/load with a line out, or a load and a line-out box for this.
Here's what it sounds like...
Only thing heard in the room was what comes out of the monitors recorded with the cameras build-in mic. Check out how loud the string rattle is compared to the amp sound through the monitors. That will give you a good idea how low the volume is in the room.
