Rob Chappers: Monkeyfest moving to 2011

Hi guys,

Just a quick announcement to say that "Monkey Fest" has become so incredibly huge, that it has become necessary to move it back a year to 2011. It will now be 13th - 14th Aug 2011, but you will be able to arrive on the 12th and set up tents etc.

This is also partly dude to being given Chapman Guitars, something that I had no idea would happen... I think launching a guitar company, bringing out a DVD, running a band and launching a festival all in the same year would be overload even for me.

The good news is that Lick Library and I are working together, they will be helping to fund Monkey Fest which is a huge weight off my mind since it is very expensive to create win in a field. It also looks as if we will will now have two headliners one for sat night and one for sunday afternoon.

Sorry if this causes any inconvenience and in place of Monkey Fest 2010 we will instead be going on tour around the UK sometime in Nov

The Monkey Lord Lead Guitar Concepts and Techniques Workshop is a 6 hour clinic. You will spend the day learning a range of techniques, including (but not limited to) muting, picking, legato, vibrato and posture.
