Just spent the best part of two hours on an Alitalia flight from London Heathrow to Milan's Linate airport. As per usual in flight refreshment leaves a lot to be desired. Milan has a very good and cheap transit system, so I was able to get from the airport to downtown Milan for the price of one Euro. I was met by the redoubtable Guglielmo Malusardi, who was kind enough to assist in the transit with directions and motor transport. Not sure what we will do tonight, but likely as not we'll head down town to see the sights. Tomorrow will be Guitar Day 6... More later.
