during the version of "Wake Up Fest" at Dingbatz in New Jersey, Marc Rizzo and his solo band performed in front of a crowd that showed up to support and celebrate the 41st birthday of Chi Cheng, former deftones bassists who has been in a coma ever since he suffered from a terrible car accident in November of 2008. Through this act of humbleness Rizzo demonstrated why he is one of the best guitarists in Heavy Music today. We had the chance to interview Rizzo about his musical career and about the influence that Chi Cheng has had in the entire Heavy Music scene.
