Musician Jason Becker refuses to let ALS silence him

Becker had already recorded two full length albums before the age of 21 and had just been selected to play guitar for David Lee Roth when he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS and given only years to live. Becker is now confined to a wheelchair without the ability to move or speak. However, with the help of a communication system invented by his father, Gary, in 1996, wherein he only uses his eyes, Becker is still able to compose music and collaborate with other artists.
