Alternate Picking 'Odd Groupings' - Sam Bell Guitar SamBellGuitar A few days ago someone requested that I teach 'The Hardest Picking Lick I know'. However, I find all the picking licks I know hard. So instead of sharing just a lick, I wanted to share a cool little concept that uses odd groupings of notes within a 3 note per string fingering to help inspire some interesting picking patterns. Please note that this isn't meant to be 5 or 7 notes per beat, its just the 'groups' of notes within the sequence which I am looking at. You may however picking 5 or 7 notes per beat if you wish!
