Paul Waggoner, Dustie Waring: The Ectopic Stroll - Between the Buried and Me - Mark Five: 35 and 25 Heads and Recto 2x12 Cabinets

Our good friends Paul Waggoner and Dustie Waring from Between the Buried and Me took some time from their San Francisco date of their 2015 fall tour to play through a song from their 2015 release Coma Ecliptic. Dustie and Paul are true tone seekers and the song “The Ectopic Stroll” showcases a great variety of sparkling clean, rock rhythm and smooth, tasty lead sounds.

Paul played through a Mark Five: 35 head with a 2x12 Rectifier Horizontal cab loaded with Vintage 30s. Dustie played the Mark Five: 25 head with the 2x12 Rectifier Compact cab, also loaded with Celestion Vintage 30s.

Recorded with a Shure KSM 313 and the CabClone set to the closed Back position for both amps. Mixed with 55% KSM and 45% CabClone and blended with the original track.

Our thanks to Paul and Dustie and BTBAM for their time and also their support and use of Mesa products for well over 10 years.

Recorded and captured at the beautiful new Social Hall in San Francisco: http://www.socialhallsf.com/
