Hello everybody! Welcome to 7 minutes of pure Fusion Shred I just wanted to start this series of videos on my YouTube Channel in which I improvise the first take of a random backing track I found around on the tube. This is the time for a simple C minor 7 funk backing, you can find the link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1aER...​ I started playing electric guitar in 1997 (I was 12 years old at that time), and I have been listening to a lot to my Fusion Shred heroes of that time: Shawn Lane, Greg Howe, TJ Helmerich, Brett Garsed, Frank Gambale. I have been studying their languages and their techniques and tried to build out my style out of it. Let's say that this is a little tribute to these heroes, and I really enjoy playing freely and non-stop over a simple Cm7 vamp! This is just a first take, no cut or editing whatsoever! In this time of perfect computer digital music, I like to leave the human touch, even with imperfections and mistakes.
