RIP the great Don Hawkins on saxophone 1937-2023. First time We jammed the song "I'll Fly Away" by the Kossoy Sisters which was featured in the film "O Brother Where Art Thou. He brought the tune up. So, We had a great jam on it and afterwards He tells us, smiling and joking, theres really no room for sax but i wanted to hear Your guys play it 😁 Thank You Don for Your incredible gift to music, encouraging and making even guitarists like myself better.
